The above photo, taken yesterday, features the segment of Spring Garden Street, between Elam Avenue and Chapman Street in Greensboro. This is a mini-rush hour scene taken close to 5:00 pm as people were leaving work and preparing for the weekend. The puffy clouds and sunny skies made everything look beautiful. Today is shaping up to be a beautiful day, too.
If you want a mini-vacation without leaving town, consider heading into town and watching the Seventh Annual Run for the Greenway or turning right at Chapman Street above, and heading to the Coliseum for the North American Body Painting Championship, held right here in our very own Greensboro. This afternoon, you can see some of the painting magic taking place. Tonight at 8:00 you can sit back and enjoy the runway walk. Whatever you decide to do, we hope you have a nice day! (If you are an early morning reader, sorry for the late publication time).
Not quite as busy as rush hour can be here!
