On Simpson Street, in Downtown Greensboro, we have seen this Volkswagen Beetle on several occasions. With its bold color and flowery rims, it exudes panache and cheer on this sleepy little section of Simpson Street, between West Smith and West Fisher Avenue. We're betting that the owner of the vehicle works at Rose Reprographics or at least had this beautiful rim-overlay printed there.
We'd love to meet the owners of this Volkswagen, as they are probably as confident and creative as the vehicle they drive. As built up as downtown is becoming, it is hard to believe that there are still streets with one-storey houses and free, on-street parking. As you drive around this weekend, pay attention to the neighborhoods and cars that attract your attention. What do they say about you? Here's to a great weekend as we are getting frightfully close to August. Happy Friday and HONK if you love punch buggies!
That is a cute little bug. We drove a 1963 VW Bug back in the day. That was in Chicago. We soon sold it as it had no heat. You can't have a non-heated car in Chicago in the winter!

This cute car reminds me of my very first car, red with yellow wheel hubs, nicknamed the 'Noddy' car :) The young lady in my post today is my daughter Janis 😃 Happy weekend.
