Sky Wild is one of the newest attractions at the Greensboro Science Center. This is the Lawndale Drive view of the venue. Soon, the trees will be leafed out and it will be hard to see it from the road. Now, you have a clear view of the property. Skywild is meant to be a place where you can observe the animals in the center while getting a good workout. According to their website, Skyward encourages you to imitate animal actions like "waddling, leaping, brachiating, and crawling" to appreciate, more fully, the ways of the animal kingdom. Skyward will celebrate its one-year anniversary on May 2nd. They have several routes from beginner to advanced.
An annual membership is $280 for science center members. Imagine the workout you would get if you progressed through the courses here. The height ranges from 15 feet to 45 feet and you can zipline through the property to your heart's content. Sounds like so much fun! Let us know if you try it.
