Yesterday's Dickensian* holiday window got us looking through photos to find other festive photos. The above scene was taken a while back at Chakras Spa on South Elm Street. The view captured in from the ground floor, looking up at the stairwell. The stars, hanging from the ceiling, remind us of Moravian stars.
As hectic as this time of year can get, you might want to think about getting your loved ones (or yourself) a massage. There are several great options in Greensboro, one of which is, indeed, Chakras. Unfortunately, the Chakras website doesn't have any information about the year they opened. We know they opened downtown in the early years of the revitalization of Elm Street, but we don't remember the year. Not only do they do a great job of providing spa services, they also feature artwork and participate in First Friday. These community building efforts are part of what makes Greensboro so great. Have a great weekend!
