Good morning, Greensboro! WFMY News 2 broadcasts every morning out of a very unimposing, square building on Phillips Avenue. At 6:00 in the morning, there are not many signs of life outside of the building. However, once inside, you a team of journalists working very hard to put together the morning program- seemingly effortlessly. These journalists live by the minute, knowing they have one minute, or two, until the next segment. They are professionally personable and make guests feel at ease.
In the above photo, Eric Chilton used one of his few spare minutes to stop and pose for a photo. Eric was born in Mt. Airy, received his journalism degree from UNC, and has worked at WFMY, News 2, since 2003 (reference). This photo of him was taken in The Lee William Kinard, Jr. Studio. You may remember, in 2011, we had the pleasure of interviewing Lee Kinard, who actually started the Morning Show (see post, here). We're sure Dr. Kinard realizes how hard his successors are working to keep Greensboro, and the surrounding area, up to date on happenings in the community.
Janis: FINALLY, you are getting your time in the spotlight! Well deserved and long overdue!

Our local television stations are scattered here and there. One of them's downtown, though I've never photographed it.
