After the downpour last night in Greensboro, this fountain doesn't seem as refreshing as it did when we visited it on a very hot day this summer. The fountain, along with the pair of trees at the entranceway, make the square very inviting to pedestrians and drivers alike. It is located next to Fouintainview Apartments and just east of Elm Street on East Lewis Street. We need to return and explore more, because, we've learned that Greensboro sculptor Jim Galucci has artwork there.
Today is First Friday. We hope you will have a chance to go downtown and gallery hop a little bit. You won't regret it. The more we visit the galleries, and thank them (and making purchases really helps), the more they will continue to provide for the community. This fountain view is literally two blocks from Elm Street. Exploring our city really is a lot of fun. There is so much to see and it just keeps getting better and better!
It really is a pretty fountain, Janis!
