Weekends on Elm Street can get pretty interesting. In the above photo two people from Elsewhere, a living museum inside a thrift store, were riding the bikes back to the museum. The museum members are known for their attention-grabbing modes of transportation and they bring great energy to the 600 block of South Elm Street. In the above photo, it looks like they're taking helmets to a whole new level.
This weekend will be no exception downtown, as Preyer Brewing Company opened in the former Steele & Vaughn Building, taking the Battleground, Smith, Eugene Street area near Deep Roots Co-op to a whole new level. We hope you have a chance to get out and explore the Gate City! Check out the new and patronize the old!
We're sharing this with Weekend Reflections. (Reflections in the car are there... subtle, but there).
What a sight this is. I cannot think of any comparison. What a great way to bring the street alive and smiling.
