Some photos speak for themselves, and we found this one to be something of a Norman Rockwell moment. In the above photo, while dad and his friend are discussing beautiful vintage cars, a young boy rests for a moment trying to enjoy a cookie in solitude. The ever-obedient dog, in the "sit" command, could not take his eyes off the cookie.
The Cars & Coffee (and cookies) car show at the Fresh Market in Jefferson Village this past weekend was, indeed, a family event. It was pet friendly, too. There were about 1,000 people at the event and everyone seemed to be having a good time, except, perhaps the terrier who didn't get the cookie. If you missed April's show this past Saturday, the next one will be held May 16th, beginning at 8am. Get there early if you want to find a parking space. Get there anytime to see Norman Rockwell moments!
If you missed yesterday's GDP post, go here to see the Dodge Dart we featured.
oh this is so sweet :)
