Liberty Antiques Festival is going strong today and tomorrow, just south of Greensboro in Liberty. With hundreds of dealers and no crafts, reproductions, or nearly-new items allowed, this festival is billed as one of the best on the east coast. If you've never been, it is worth the drive- for the antique lovers, that is. Take 421 South and follow the signs. They will be there, rain or shine. If you get a chance, take time to explore all of the great things to see and do in the town of Liberty. It is experiencing a renaissance. Plus, on Saturday, they will have a great antique car show as well as bargains on antiques by the dealers who don't get a spot at the main show.
We're guessing the woman in the above photo is trying to remember in which row she saw that one-of-a-kind treasure. There is a lot to see on this 100-acre farm. A couple of years ago, the festival even got a little write up in Country Living Magazine. Don't forget your walking shoes, sun hat, a bottle of water, your $7.00 entrance fee, and a giant bag for your treasures.
I can see that bringing people out!
