Yesterday's photo of General Greene inspired us to share this photo of construction at the corner of Greene Street and Battleground Avenue-- just east of the baseball stadium. This is the framework for the headquarters of the executive search firm Charles Aris. When completed, the three-story building will be 24,000 square feet. At present, Charles Aris, Inc. is located nearby in 7,500 square feet downtown. They are more than tripling their space. The executive search firm business must be booming. According to the Triad Business Journal, this $4 million project is the first new office space built in downtown Greensboro since 2010.
The shape of the building seems to make good use of the lot. It is so fun to see these buildings in process, at the stage where they almost look like playground equipment. For sure, we will share a photo when the building is finished. Literally, the landscape of downtown is changing before our eyes.
Click here for more information and to see the architect's rendering of the facility when completed.
I look forward to seeing the final version!
