This past weekend, the above e-car was spotted on UNCG's campus in the Walker Parking Deck. It is a Gem E4 Electric with a state-owned license plate. If you look closely on the front, you can see the chord that was plugged in to the wall of the parking deck.
A google search doesn't bring up any information on electric cars being used by UNCG. It did remind us that three years ago, UNCG's Weatherspoon Art Museum featured a film "Revenge of the Electric Car." We sure hope to see more of them around Greensboro's college campuses. It looks like something a Disney character would drive around in. What do you think?
It is a funny looking shape but I love the concept. It's interesting that so few electric cars are being built around here. One would think it would be popular if it were in mass production.
