Greensboro has some lovely homes and the one featured today is located at the corner of Country Club Drive and St. Andrews Road in Irving Park. Even in the dead of winter, the area looks inviting. Irving Park, developed between 1910 and 1940, has always been known as a scenic part of Greensboro. The neighborhood is anchored by a beautiful golf course which provides great open space and the feel of a rambling European estate. Tudor Revival and Colonial Revival are common architectural styles in the neighborhood. The above home is an example of the ample lots and neighborhood charm. While you can't tell from the photo, the hilly Irving Park roads curve through the neighborhood, deterring cut-through traffic and speeding. If you are looking for a little stress relief, a drive through a beautiful neighborhood can do the trick!
We hope you have a great week, and, with the days gaining a few minutes more light each day, perhaps you can get out and explore neighborhoods, regardless of where you live. Happy Monday!
This one looks quite pleasant!
