The above photo was taken at last year's First Friday/Festival of Lights events at the southwestern end of Center City Park. Tonight will prove to be equally well attended. We hope you will be there. From the musical stroll along Elm street, to the Indie Market, to the fake snow, to the lighting of the tree, to ice skating there will be something for everyone.
If you want to get into the Christmas spirit, head downtown tonight. If you don't want anything to do with Christmas, you might still want to head downtown. You'll see people happily strolling and all of the merchants will have put together great displays and even a few bargains. At 9:00, Elm Street will open back up to pedestrians and people will scatter quickly; so don't delay. Hope to see you there. The event will put you in a December frame of mind. Promise.
Have fun!
