Today, we're at the corner of Walker and Elam. All is quiet in this photo; however, if you head over to this part of Lindley Park today, likely you will see it brimming with people. Lindley Park has been masterful at creating a sense of community in their neighborhood. The grass roots efforts, from newsletters to mini-farmers market to coffee shop to street events, Lindley Park has so many family-friendly events. The corner also has quite a reputation for street art. The wall above, is the Elam side of Fishbones Seafood Restaurant.
We've heard that they have really good food; unfortunately, they've always been too busy for us to wait around to get a table. Now, that's a great problem to have. Here's to a great Saturday for all of us and taking an opportunity to get out and walk around Greensboro's neighborhoods.
It does make for an interesting wall, though admittedly I don't go for seafood.
