The quality of this photo isn't very good, but it evokes a great feeling: Relaxation. It was taken at the little pond beside the silo near the farm-course swimming pool of the Greensboro Country Club. The view was from Tory Hill Drive, a rapidly developing area that is still zoned "county." This unidentified man spent the late afternoon hours gliding around the little pond in the hopes of catching a fish- or two. We didn't interrupt his solitude to ask whether or not he'd caught anything. Sometimes stories are better when you don't know the ending.
The weekend is upon us and, hopefully, you will have time to relax. We hope you find your "little pond" be it literally or figuratively.
sad when nice places like this get over-developed
