As we enter celebrate Labor Day weekend, Greensboro will begin transitioning from summer to fall. All students are now back in school; the routines are established. August to October is apple-picking time in the mountains. The above photo, taken out in the county, is of either pears or quince; however, it reminds us of the glorious, heavenly beauty that comes our way during the fall harvest season. Communing with nature can bring out strong emotional and spiritual feelings. For today's spiritual post, we're suggesting that you head out of doors and notice the little details that hint at a seasonal change. Dogwood berries have already turned red; the air is turning a little cooler in the morning; persimmons are starting to ripen. Trails like the one at Bur-Mil Park are great for enjoying nature.
As we transition to fall; let us all be grateful for living in such a beautiful place.
A lovely image!

It's interesting how the quality of light seems to change right after Labor Day.
