The above photo features the audience at a children's festival featured on GDP back in May. As we were looking for a photo today, we liked the colors in this one and noticed the contrast for the foreground and background. In the background, you see early Guilford County buildings on the grounds of the Greensboro Historical Museum. In the foreground, you see a very international audience enjoying Mexican dancers on a pop-up stage. The blue chairs made it seem like we were all sitting on a little piece of the sky.
The photo evokes a feeling of summertime, not only because it is extremely sunny, but also because it shows people out, together, enjoying the afternoon in Greensboro. The Church, Davie, Summit Avenue area downtown has so much to offer culturally and will have even more to offer when the cultural arts center. Here's to a great week, whether you are working or vacationing. Try to find time to enjoy the out of doors!
Such a good contrast too. I do like those old buildings.
