Summer Sundays on the lawn with music has become quite a Greensboro tradition. Yesterday's concert was provided by the West African drumming/rock group, Diali Cissokho & Kaira Ba. They performed a concert with a great cross-continental beat as part of the Eastern Musical Festival Fringe. The young, energetic band brought out a younger crowd on the lawn at Dana Auditorium on the campus of Guilford College. The weather held out and a, from children to adults to dogs on leashes, fun was had by all.
Next week's performance will be at National Military Park. The first concert will start at 6:00 and the second one will start at 7:15, two MUSEP concerts on one evening.
Nice capture, and definitely some unusual instruments there.
