A couple of weeks ago, this Miami Air charter plane was parked on the northeast side of the Piedmont Triad International Airport, between the terminal and the Fed-Ex facility. Miami Air, established in 1990, is a toddler in the industry. Military, sport teams, cruise lines, tour operators, and incentive groups are their main customers.* Perhaps they were transporting an ACC team to Greensboro. As of 2011, the airline only had 7 planes in service; so, seeing one of their 737's at PTI was a pretty fun- rather like the license plate game on the highway.
As we enter this Passover/Easter season, many Greensboro families are taking vacations, going elsewhere to visit relatives. With the Guilford County Schools forgiving a few snow days, students who take next week off will only be missing 2 days of school instead of four. If you are one of the lucky folks who will spend time with friends and loved ones (here or elsewhere), we hope your time will be great! As for us, we'll be spending the week enjoying all of the plants on the verge of blooming.
