If you care about your KICKS, chances are you are an adolescent male. Fancy tennis shoes are all the rage and it is not unheard of to spend hundreds of dollars on KICKS and to wait in long lines to purchase a new release. The above photo was taken at a recent track meet at Southeast Guilford County High School. The track and field events were fabulous to watch and the footwear was fancy. And, socks were pretty dynamic, too. Next time you are with a group of teenagers and at a loss of what to talk about, look at their tennis shoes. If they are neon, shiny, or new, strike up a conversation about their tennis shoes, their KICKS. Examples of how the word "Kicks" is used can be found in the urban dictionary. "Those kicks are ill. Those are the tightest kicks I have ever seen."
Today is ABC Wednesday and "K" is for Kicks. See GDP's previous entries for our ABC Alphabet Soup series here.

Hmmm, proof that I don't have kids. This is the first I've heard of that brand of shoe.

William, KICKS is not a brand. It is a slang word for any tennis shoe that has style/swag!
