Jules Antiques and Fine Art is located at 530 South Elm Street. It has been owned by Agnes Preston-Brame and Gary Brame since 2007. The dynamic husband-wife team are both business people who have been in contracting and interior design and owned other businesses in Greensboro before opening Jules Antique. Before their proprietorship, Mary of Rhyne's Corner Cupboard had the shop there. Antiques have dominated this section of Elm Street for a very long time.
The Brame's ecclectic shop contains everything from costume jewelry to original works of art. Agnes herself is a successful artist and during First Friday on December 6th, her paintings were on display in the gallery on the second floor of the store. The above photo was taken at Jules from the stairs leading to the second floor gallery. It captures the energy of the crowds that have been flocking to downtown during this hoilday season. The Christmas lights and foam deer antlers makes us think that, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas- at Jules, Greensboro and beyond.
