Tomorrow, Greensboro, like the rest of America, will put those pumpkins away, faster than we store white shoes after Labor Day. One more day of fall colors and, tomorrow , we exchange them for the mighty red and green. Only four more weekends left before Christmas. We like the calmness of this photo- with the pumpkins, purchased at one Greensboro's many pumpkin patches. This weekend, neighbors will be heading to the North Carolina mountains to purchase Christmas trees. Others will stay in town and head to Wagoner's or Delancey Street for a tree. As for us, we're staying put in our Greensboro home, watching A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, giving thanks over some food and enjoying the fellowship of the family members who are able to be with us. A little Macy's Day Parade and a little football, will provide a much needed break from the normal hurried routines. Weather permitting, we'll head out to stock up on photos for Greensboro Daily Photo.
We hope that you are enjoying your holiday and that you will continue to read and to share this page with your friends. For you, dear readers, we give thanks.
