Fall weekends are great for taking rides down country roads. The above photo was taken on one such country road in northwest Greensboro, at Carlson Dairy near Pleasant Ridge Road. While we're losing a lot of our farms, Guilford County has a large population of horses and you can still see pastures when driving around the county. You don't even have to travel too far from the city limits. to see horse farms. The above paint horse is a real beauty. We're thinking it is a
tobiano pattern. Paints are one of the fastest growing breeds in the United States. It is easy to see why. Not only are their markings beautiful, they have a great temperament.

Lucky you to have so many horses around. I'm glad to learn that paints are a growing breed. They are so much fun to see.
