Well, the weekend is upon us. In the North Carolina mountains, leaves are displaying their fall colors. It is a good weekend to go for a country drive. For those staying in town, weekends are a great time to drive around and see the colors, sights, and sounds of Greensboro. Recently, we spotted this gem of a vehicle at Herbie's Restaurant on Battleground Avenue. Wouldn't you like to meet the owners of the Yabba Dabba Doo Mobile? They came down from Virginia for the Thursday evening car night event at Herbies.
If you are like us, you'll be driving around in a considerably more conventional vehicle this weekend to attend events in Greensboro. Today, is a good opportunity to see "Storyscapes...", art brought to the community through the Interactive Resource Center by people who have been homeless at some point if their life. For the over 21 crowd, the Sip N Stroll event downtown is a great way to spend the afternoon getting to know the flavors and people of the city. On Sunday, visit the pottery event at the Yanceyville Curb Market and, HONK, if you see the Yabba Dabba Doo Mobile!
I would expect Bronto Ribs to be served by a car hop ASAP!
