403 North Elm Street just got three cacti sculptures and some new landscaping (behind the yellow truck). BLU MARGARITA is the new tenant in the building that formerly housed GANACHE Bakery and restaurant. Blu Margarita will be a Mexican Restaurant, bakery and bar. If you look closely, above the word BLU, you can see the rooftop seating area's new turquoise facelift.
According to the News & Record, the BLU Margarita will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Unfortunately, the same article indictes the establishment won't be open until July. Hopefully, since they already havd chairs on the rooftop and a facebook page, they will open sooner than nine months from now. Let's hope this establishment features original art by local artists. Ganache was known for featuring high-quality art by local artists; a gallery of color adorned the walls. This new business is yet another sign that Greensboro's economy is on the upturn. Happy Friday, folks. Hope you have time to get out and see how much Greensboro is changing.
