The Downtown Bark Park, featured in yesterday's post, has a bird's eye view of the Olde Greensborough Gateway Building (620 S. Elm). It is located on the very busy corner of Lee Street and South Elm. We've featured this former home of Blue Bell, Inc. blue jean building previously on GDP. However, from this view, it almost looks as if we are closer to the outskirts of town, perhaps near the area of Revolution Mill. This is what Greensboro must have looked like years ago. While the former tenant is long gone, Greensboro is fortunate that this giant building is still in open, as a mixed-use space for office space, shops, studios and more. They have space for rent and perfect for people who don't want the burden of stand-alone brick and mortar. Greensboro is such a glorious city, especially on a sunny day. If you are out at the Downtown Bark Park, be sure to look at the view around you. Greensboro is changing before our eyes!
