At the corner of Vernon Street and Cloverdale Drive, in the heart of Greensboro, someone has constructed a heavenly little sanctuary. The above corner of the property has a greenhouse, a garden and fabulously planned plantings. The property is down the street from Lawndale Swim and Tennis Club and Joyner Elementary. The neighborhood, tucked between Lawndale Drive and Pisgah Church Road, doesn't get much name recognition; however, if the interactive map is correct, it is known as the Lawndale Homes neighborhood.
What do you do to make your dwelling uniquely your own? What do you tell people to look for when they are calling to find your residence? Do you have your street address or apartment number displayed prominently? If we lived at the above address, we would tell people to look for that house that resembles a stave church in Norway. It also reminds us of a place where literary figure Pippi Longstocking would go to have an adventure. Maybe we've just got Scandinavia on our mind today! As they say in Norwegian, "Ha en flott uke!" Swedish, "Ha en bra vecka!" Danish, "Har en god uge!" or Finnish, "On loistava viikko!"-- or in English, "Have a great week!"
