The weekend is upon us and downtown Greensboro will be full of people. Above, we see "The Worx" a new restaurant at 106 Barnhardt Street. A couple of years ago, Barnhardt was a sleepy little patch of space that was near the railroad tracks. Now it is a vibrant space hosting events, providing parking, and building community downtown. The Worx is an example of an old brick building, from the early 20th century, that has been restored to its original spendor- and then some. Greensboro has done a great job of keeping an historical look to buildings while making them relevant to 21st century needs. Don't the people in the above photo look like they are enjoying themselves? Hope to see you downtown soon. If not this weekend, perhaps on First Friday?
