Yesterday, we featured a mural full of much-loved pets. Having a pet is tremendously rewarding; however, it is a big financial committment. Today, we share a much-needed place when one has pets: A full-service veterinary facility. Gate City Animal Hospital is just that. They will take care of your pets from birth and see them through the senior years. Gate City, established in 1997 and located at 202 Pisgah Church Road, also has grooming and boarding services.
Gate City opened their office during the housing boom of the 1990's, when the lake Jeanette and North Church Street areas were growing so quickly.
The above facility looks especially beautiful with the sunflowers at the front entrance and the bright blue sky reflecting off the picture window. Hats off to Gate City's great service and their great landscaping. While the latter doesn't generate revenue, it goes a long way towards making the establishment feel welcoming. Maybe the dogs and cats notice it too!
