The Greensboro Music Company, established in 1993, is located at the corner of Paisley and Greene Streets. The actual address is 500 North Greene Street. These days, small, one-story, houselike buildings are getting harder and harder to find downtown. The architecture and the Carolina blue trim make the building memorable. The Music Company specializes in buying, selling, and repairing musical instruments, amps, and just about anything that needs fixing. Fisher Park Apartments and Orrell Designs are just a stone's throw away. The location is fabulous. The leafless tree on a cold winter day makes the seen look cold and desolate. Walk inside and the feeling is completely different. Happy Monday! If you get a chance, drive around and see if you can find this building. Better yet, walk or bike.
Being a musician of sorts makes me think I would love this building and what it contains. I recently had to have a Martin guitar repaired and it would have nice if I could have found a place like this rather than having to go miles and miles to get it fixed!
