In vertical cities like Hong Kong, you expect to see people all around and on different levels. In Greensboro, one of the few places to have that sensation is at Four Season's Town Center on High Point Road. The three story mall (one million square feet of shopping) is the only indoor shopping mall in the Greensboro area. This facility, developed by Joseph S. Koury, opened in 1974. It has long outlived the Carolina Circle Mall which opened in 1976 and closed in 2002.
One of the (many) nice things about Four Seasons is that they frequently host community events. Since this is the last weekend before Christmas, shopping is starting to get a little frenzied. Likely, all energy at Four Seasons will be getting desperate shoppers through these final days, with community events on hold. If the Mayan calendar is wrong, we plan on doing a little shopping here. If you are interested in learning more about Four seasons, the history of Four Seasons has a Wikipedia entry (here).
If you think this is madness, you should never come to Manila during the Christmas season!

You'll know when it hits frenzy, because all the people will be a blur of frantic motion.

Hm, I want to say Carolina Circle was closed before 2002. Perhaps that's when it was demolished?
