As we've moved more and more to air-conditioning, we have lost the front porch--so conducive to neighborliness. This one just cries out "Come sit a while."

Certainly a classic residence. Lovely to look at and such a FINE house in which to live! Kate, ABC Team

She's a real beauty, alright! I imagine a grand front entrance with a two-story open staircase, illuminated by that lovely window in the gable. I'd love to see the inside, but I'm perfectly content to confine my visit to that wonderful front porch! I do believe I see the chains to a porch swing over on the right, so if anyone needs me I'll just be over there enjoying a little R&R with a glass of fresh lemonade... :-)

What are those two plants in front with the ginormous leaves, do you know?

Roger Green

That is a lovely house. covet.

Not a purist

" From 1977-2007, Forest Oaks hosted the PGA Tour's Wyndham Championship"

The purists will have you know it was known as the GGO back then!

Lisa

I'd love to spend the day on that front porch! Gorgeous indeed!

A Fine home, indeed....I would love it if it came with maids!

VioletSky

I love front porches and would enjoy sitting on this one and watching the golfers over the road.

Thanks "not a purist." We captured that sentence from Forest Oaks' website!

Cheri

What a lovely home. A welcoming porch, willows beckoning from the yard. Yes, just lovely.

Linnea

I love those old housing...don't see too many of them around here! Lovely lush landscape!
