Today, we bring you a photo of a simple cross.... seen on a hill... in the woods, not so far away.... near Bur-Mil Park in Greensboro. The scene reminds us of how beautiful Greensboro is this time of year. Sometimes it is nice to get out and enjoy nature, to get a little exercise, to reflect on the week past and to plan for the week ahead. The first week after school is out is a big vacation week for Greensboro; so many people are out of town. If you are in town, too, take a little time to look around and take in the beauty of our great community. Let us know what you like about our community and we'll try to take a photo of it for you. We are nearing the summer solstice and are busy taking lots of photos, now that the days are so long. Have a great week, dear readers.
If you want to hear Jim Nabors sing "Old Rugged Cross" listen here.
I hope I haven't missed the picture of Kids Path at Hospice... on Summit Ave. Now and then a photo will go in the spam file and I won't catch it.
Thanks
Nita

Nice to get a little feedback once in a while. We get lots of lookers, but it is nice to receive comments. The comments make this effort all worthwhile!
I'll get on the Kids Path photo, Nita.

Like you, I love the lengthening days. Everything looks so lushly green in Greensboro.
