Today, we share not the Elm Street side of Schiffman's Jewelry Store, but the rear view. Schiffman's has been in downtown Greensboro since 1893. We've featured Mr. Schiffman previously as well as an interior view of his store. However, last month, when we were driving downtown, we noticed the Davie Street entrance with convenient parking.
Imagine discreetly slipping in the back door of Schiffman's to pick up an extra place setting of your heirloom china, maybe even selecting a diamond ring for your sweetheart. Even if you aren't buying something, consider slipping in the back door and thanking Mr. Schiffman and his sons for having maintained a business on Elm Street for 119 years. Surely that is a record for downtown Greensboro!
We hope you have a great weekend. We're sharing this with Weekend Reflections.
Many times have I slipped in that back door to pick up a gift. It is certainly convenient for parking.
