Today, we share a photo of Nico's Italian Restaurant and Bar in Downtown Greensboro. Nico's Restaurant is located inside the Centre Points Building, an upscale 17-floor urban apartment complex, at the corner of Elm Street and Friendly Avenue. We always notice the restaurant when we are across the street at Center City Park. On one of the first warm nights of spring, when we drove by and people were dining outside, we snapped this photo. The scene reminds us of big-city life, even though it was taken here. On March 14th, Nico's celebrated its one-year anniversary. Nico's is a collaborative effort between Sicilian Nico Scavone and Greensboro's own John Drees (of Southern Lights) .
We're sharing this photo with Weekend Reflections. And, no, the waiter isn't watering the evergreen. There is a young couple dining behind the shrub! We hope to be dining there soon ourselves.
Nice shot...it does remind you of big city life...could be a scene in NYC!
