The above view was captured while walking on West Friendly Avenue at Cedar Street. The concrete pads were formerly part of a home's foundation. Currently, the lots are vacant and waiting for a new life. From the looks of the garbage pile, it is a popular hangout for the homeless. In the midst of all of this decay, we see, spray-painted to the wall, God Is Love. How inspiring to know that someone can be stripped of most material goods and still have the perspective that God Is Love. Maybe someone preaches from here. Would make a great spot for a tent revival. What do you think would be the best use of this lot that connects the eastern edge of Westerwood to town?
This is our weekly, Sunday, religious post. See more here.
My first impression was the tornado must have struck there.

Abraham, Jack, & Madge:
I think you are right, Jack. Madge, let me know if you post a photo and I'll link! Jack, we're always appreciative of comments by locals. Have a great day everyone. Off to see what I can capture for this week.
