Saturday is the day to do ordinary things, wash your car, get a haircut, go to the grocery store. Here we are in front of Moye's BARBER SHOP on MLK Drive in the Asheboro Community. Stand-alone barber shops remind us of old-time, Mayberry days and Andy Griffith ways. They are getting harder and harder to come by. Notice that every vehicle in the parking lot is a truck. The iconic barber shop is a place for guys to go and get their look refreshed as well as catch up on neighborhood news. Likely the man who owns the red truck is as particular about his own appearance as he is about the way his truck shines from top to bottom!
