According to their website, Teamsters Union, Local No 391, is North Carolina's largest and most diverse union. It grew out of a group of 26 drivers in 1938. At its height, in 1979, it had 10,000 members. Today, it has 8,000 members. Read the history of Teamsters Local No. 391 here. Their building is located off of Sandy Ridge Road and I-40 near the Farmers Market. The local unions feed into the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, which is headquartered in Washington, D.C.
We're sharing this photo with Skywatch Friday where you can go to see a slice of the sky around the world. The red brick building looks so solid under the bold blue sky. Have a great weekend and don't forget about the Liberty Antiques Festival today and tomorrow. Here is a post about the event from a couple of years ago. It would be a great way to spend this first day of autumn!
Marvellous sky with clean colours - great image :)

I was a member of a union once, the United Auto Workers. There I learned what socialism is all about.
