Mr. Fourth of July was spotted at the Greensboro Arboretum at the Summer Solstice event in June. He was last seen talking to his special, fairy-winged lady. Hopefully the couple will make an appearance at the Fourth of July events in Greensboro. He is a human bumper sticker, in full Fourth-of-July regalia and displaying "USA" on his forearm.
This year, Greensboro's fireworks have been moved from Jameison Stadium (Grimsley High School) to the White Oak Amphitheatre at the Coliseum Complex. Let's hope the move will be a good one for the community. This is the photo we published from last year's display and are optimistic that display at the new location will be as beautiful.
What is the most patriotic you've ever dressed? Why don't you dress up today, have someone take a photo and send it to us. We'd love to feature a reader or two!
What a cute and happy photo GDP! I love his zany outfit... he's even got the tuque with the fireworks going! That's the spirit. :)
Have a happy and fun-filled 4th, GDP !
