Sunday afternoon at sunset, Clemmons Florist employees were busy working non-stop to get their Valentine's Day orders prepared. Clemmons is located at 219 West Friendly Avenue, beside West Market Street United Methodist Church. This third-generation, family-owned florist has been a downtown Greensboro institution for over 55 years. Usually, they are able to provide same-day service-- thought not likely on Valentine's Day. While the building is plain, the sky is the limit with the floral arrangements they dream up inside.
Today, we are reminded that Valentine's Day is not about you or someone else. It is about you AND someone else, the "we." If it is too late to send flowers, or that expense is not in your budget, try picking up the phone and delivering a heartfelt message... a singing valentine. Be creative with your signs of affection. How about filling someone's driveway with sidewalk chalk hearts?
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to all of our readers. Thank you for your visits. XOXOXO
Happy Valentine's Day! You took a nice reflective photo!

It's only too bad there is only one official day to celebrate love per year. I definitely like your ideas. It's the thought and the gesture that count... I'd be happy for any of those suggestions.

Spouse and I gave each other online in-game "gifts" @ Kingdom of loathing , it is a fun, nerdy, geeky game that can take either no time at all or all of your time for days!
We also gave the gift of better heart health by starting to ride bicycles again after a year off for Dh and way longer for me! I did way better than I thought I would and Dh did a little worse than he thought he would on the first mile. I told him this is to PREVENT a heart attack not cause one!
Hope you had a happy Valentines Day too!
