This is a great week to go to the movies with family and friends. Brassfield Cinema, located at the corner of Battleground and New Garden Road, is one of the most reasonably-priced places to view a new release. Prices range from $3.75- $6.25. True Grit, Little Fockers, The Tourist, Gulliver's Travels anyone? Out of ten movies, surely something will be of interest.
Just before we snapped this photograph, about a dozen young folks exited, buttoning up coats and smiling. Something good must be playing.
Wow ! Those are very good admission prices. We have not been to a "walk-in" in a couple years, the DHs back cannot take it sitting in place for 2-3 hours plus the price here in So Cal is anywhere from $6.50 -$15. We can buy the DVD if we want to for that price.
I have heard only good things from people who saw "True Grit" and I was very iffy about yet another remake.
The remake of "The Alamo" was good a few years back as well. They do not all make the cut however.

You didn't mention "The King's Speech" which is the one movie now playing that I would like to see. I was surprised that it wasn't even mentioned in the Top 10 listing in today's N & R.
