These busses, parked at Grimsley High School, are cleaned, serviced, and ready to transport the students of Guilford County Schools in less than 24 hours! Our hats are off to those bus drivers who work so diligently to keep children safe. Grimsley High School is about to start its 111th year of teaching students. When Grimsley first opened students mostly walked to school. Now, if they aren't driving themselves to school, many of them take Thomas Built busses, built in our very own HIgh Point, NC.
Please allow time for school traffic when commuting and always, always, wait until the children are safe and the red stop sign is no longer out!
I always hated the sight of these when I was a kid.

Grimsley (formerly Greensboro Senior High School) has only been in its present location since 1929 so they are actually beginning their 81st teaching year in this location. As I understand it, the original was located where the current Weaver Center now resides.

I have seen recently the one in Moscow. It brought sweet memories of the roads in the USA full of "beware!, attention! school bus stops here!" signs
Bill B, you made me laugh...
