The sign on the awning reads Greensboro Rubber Stamp Company. This is a view of the rear of the building, the Battleground side. We're thinking that the company is actually located across Grecade Street from this location. At any rate, we loved the old lettering and were thrilled to see that the business has a website. As brick and mortar businesses became harder and harder to maintain, a good website makes all the difference in the world.
This blue sky over Greensboro is our contribution to Skywatch Friday where over 300 people will post pictures of the sky in their corner of the globe!
Geez, I remember when having a rubber stamp was like a status symbol.

I like the lettering too. I wonder if they make stamps like for scrapbooking.

How cool. I just figured all rubber stamps came from China nowadays.
