Beth David Synagogue

Beth David Synagogue, located at 804 Winview Drive, is a conservative egalitarian synagogue. The congregation dates back to 1944. In addition to Friday night services, they have Shabbat morning services, daily minyans, and many other services celebrating holy days and important life celebrations. Built in 1982, the exterior of the synagogue resembles an office building; however, on the inside, the artwork, the stained glass and holy spaces are spectacular. The above photo is a vertical mosaic of people with a Star of David in their heart. An attached plaque on the this artwork reads:

The Greensboro Jewish Community has been contributing significantly to our city since the arrival of the first Jewish families in the 1890's. Well, thank you! Believe me, if I had such an egalitarian synagogue within walking distance, I'd be there every Shabbat.
