Recently, these children were spotted en route to Barnes and Noble Bookseller in Friendly Center. One girl is already inside reading and three kids are headed that way. The boy in the baseball uniform is engrossed in some type of hand-held electronic. Hopefully, he also likes to read! If Norman Rockwell were alive today, surely, this little slice of Americana would be right up his alley.
We hope our friends at Weekend Reflection like the photo!
Good point. Good reflection. Good kids. :)

I like how they are all focused on the inside of the B&N , their goal for the walk .
Every kid I know with a hand held game also reads...they really have to...instructions at least!
Hope the East Coast weather has improved, ours has taken a turn for the century mark until Monday!

I love the girl sitting on the floor reading. My girls and I spent many happy hours inside book stores when they were growing up. No electronic games for them - just music.
