Oh I love chamomile flowers. They grown in the sandy soil that is up by the sidewalk in my front yard. They reseed every year and they are so delicate and cheery.

I have never seen chamomile flowers before! Amazing how their golden centre seems to bulge away from the white petals! And they do look like daisies too!

I consider them wildflowers. :)

I must confess that I didn't know that we had a national flower. The rose seems a good choice given all the new cultivars that allow roses to be grown everywhere.

You shot them from such a nice angle. So pretty.
I'm inspired now to pop a chamomile teabag in a cup.

In 4 days of digging I found nothing to speak of. Sorry, nothing exciting to post.

It takes me for while segregating my thought between daisy and chamomile flowers. Chamomile has the protruding seed in the middle and that is what makes them different. I will try to look at here at our backyard if we have chamomile flowers, I would make it a tea, by then I have fresh tea. ^_^ I also didn't know that we have a national flower. Rose is one of my favorite flowers too. Happy Monday and the great information.

Love the delicate little blossoms. Weeds are just flowers in everyday clothes.
