This photo shows the best of Greensboro: Families enjoying an afternoon in the park with perfect weather and great entertainment. This scene, with the giant pottery vessels and the Cultural Arts Center in the background, is found at Center City Park. The 1.9 acre park, located in the center of the city, opened in 2006 and took four years to construct.
As stated on their website, "Center City Park is to serve as a central gathering place for Greensboro's residents and visitors in a setting that is both relaxed and lively." Relaxed and lively describes Center City Park perfectly! Whether events are planned or impromptu, weekends are fun and safe here! To us, this unaltered photo looks like a painting.
It's great to see all those people out enjoying the freash air!

Love the pottery / sculpture and interactive participation of the locals. Very nice!

I like your books page and may think of adding that to my personal blog if I ever find time to post on it again. I also used to read several at a time, then I couldn't seem to focus on the printed word, as I got so much of it working on the computer. Now I've rediscovered paper pages, and find that I'm reading one at a time, avidly and straight through. There is always something of interest when I come to your blog.

Hope you are feeling relaxed and lively, like the park.
Thanks for your comment today. Not a book, but I did do two posts on what you suggest:
