Here we see some relatively new construction at the corner at Murrow Boulevard and East Market Street. The photo was taken between Bennett College and North Carolina A&T University. We're always surprised that there is so little traffic here-- vehicle or pedestrian. It is a very convenient route connecting Elm and Lee Streets. Additionally, a full-service post office is located nearby on Murrow Blvd.
This photo was taken on a warm fall day and, oh, how we are missing the warmer weather. We bought tulips at the Fresh Market yesterday and the cashier commented, "Seeing these flowers makes me hope that spring is on its way!" With a low of 16 degrees last night, it is hard to believe that this cold weather in Greensboro will be over any time soon.
Beautiful combination of brick and stone work!

When students are in residence, traffic really picks up. It's still one of my favorite "short cuts" from down town to avoid Wendover!

The majority of the downtown population does not like to cross the tracks to east Greensboro, plain and simple.
