The Antique Market Place is a great place to visit if you are looking for somewhere to spend time inside and escape the unusually cold winter we are experiencing in Greensboro. Actually, it is a fun place to shop regardless of the weather! Prior to 2001, the Antique Market Place was located downtown on Elm Street. Now, they are located near the airport and I-40 in a building with over 45,000 square feet of antiques and collectibles. We love to spend time there learning about bygone eras and hunting for antique glass, furniture, old postcards, and things that we don't know we need until we see them!
Let me in, let me in, let me in!! I love antique stores!

I will stop there for sure if we are ever in NC !
My DH walked by the screen and said "where's that, are we going?"
He buys/sells/appraises antiques, vintage and collectibles ,mostly auto related but he grew up in an "antique" family so he knows a little bit about a lot of things!
That is a fun day out waiting to be had.
I tend to shop the way you do, seeing something I never knew I needed until that moment when it calls out to me "buy me...buy me NOW!"
