This past weekend, we drove from New Bern westward to Greensboro. As the sun set, it created breathtaking views through the windshield glass. Mostly the sunset was spectacular on the south side of the interstate, making it hard to photograph. However, on this stretch, the view was also spectacular in front of us. Since Mr. GDP was driving, I was able to cheat a little bit and use the tint of the windshield glass to add the blue filter at the top. To us, the sunset was a real gift and on this Sky Watch Friday, we have decided to share it with you.
pretty! ^-^ sunsets like this are just breathtaking!

Wow! I would have found it hard to watch the road for looking at the sky. Beautiful.

Stunning, dramatic and magnificent capture! I, too, would have trouble concentrating on driving with a sky like that overhead! Superb!
Have a great weekend!

that was an amazing sunset - I even went for a drive to see it better since our tall trees block it out. Gorgeous picture.

Good one, Mrs. GDP! I'll use it for the "Benediction" slide background in church this Sunday.
This is WVT. I'm back after a long absence. Originate an email occasionally, OK? I've had a dry email season, almost as dry as the Gobi desert!
Oops . . . it wants me to put in a valid URL. How is that done when I don't have one???
